Daniels opinion about emos

The emo (emotional) cult is a sub-culture which emerged mostly amongst teenagers a few years ago. Some say that the emos are a cult which worships death and is directly related with suicide. My opinion about emos is that they are just another sub-culture with specific artistic preferences, way of dressing and way of thinking. Emos have a bad reputation because people usually relate them with cases of severe depression and in some cases suicide and death. Maybe its true that there are some cases of this amongst this culture but this is not the original idea of an emo, people often confuse the emotional way of thinking of this people and they give an different interpretation of it. For example if parents start having problems with their son or daughter and notice some strange behavior, a change in the way of dressing and beliefs about death they will easily think that their child has become an emo.
Maybe the way of thinking of this sub-culture differs with ours but we have to respect them.

Santiagos opinion of EMOS

The emo or emotional cult is a really common cult in the teenagers that is characterized of loving the death related themes, listening specific music and dressing in certain way. Many people respect them but even more hates the ideas and beliefs of the emos. The emos are really similar to the Goth cult. There has always been hate between both emos and another sub-culture called the punks.

I think people have the option of choosing how to dress or which music to listen and it is respectable that they have their own opinions about life but I also think that emos who cut themselves or attempt suicide have serious mental problems. I think those people who self-harm are taking the beliefs of emos to a next level which is unacceptable and must be treated by professionals.
