'The destructors'.... Santiago Senties
It is about a boys gang called “Wormsley Common Gang” led by a little meticulous boy named Trevor (“T”) who plans to destroy the only house that survived the World War II German air strikes with no damages meanwhile the rest of the neighborhood houses were destroyed with no mercy. This house is owned by Mr. Thomas and it is a two hundred years old house. He plans to destroy it from the inside to the outside with a clever plan with only one excuse to so such atrocity: it’s beautiful.
This plan was performed meanwhile the owner of the precious house, Mr. Thomas (AKA Old Misery), is out of town for a couple of days due to the bank holiday. The plan is to climb up his wall get to the inside of the house by the back door or a window and start destroying specific things from the inside of the house which would damage the main infrastructure making it crumble to pieces. To do such work they steal some construction tools so the work is not that laborious and they can easily destroy the inside of the house like worms through an apple. As they continue with the destruction of the house Mr. Thomas is seen by a little boy. Mr. Thomas returned early from vacations so the boy ran as fast as he could to alert them. Trevor, calmly and intelligently, decided they should continue with the work meanwhile he would take care of Mr. Thomas. He tricks him so he enters the outhouse and closes the door from the outside and that way they can easily continue destroying the house without Mr. Thomas being able to stop them. The house is finally destroyed when a supporting pole is retrieved and the whole building collapses. Mr. Thomas is left with a pile of building material and the boys are able to escape.
Graham Greene uses black humor in this short story to make it funny and entertaining by making fun of the misery of an old man in a cruel way. The thought of some cruel boys entering into some one else house and destroying it is just not funny except if you see it in a black humorous way. The boys are pictured as normal boys that eventually are jealous of the only house not destroyed so they just want to see it crumble o pieces. The way they do it is so perfect that can end up being humorous if you see the irony and black humor in it.

The Destructors
Its about a boys gang named the "Wormsley Common Gang". The leader of the gang, Trevor, elaborates a plan to destroy a very old house which survived the German attacks during world II.
They decide to execute this plan while the owner of the house, Mr. Thomas who they call Old Misery, is away during a holiday. The plan is mainly to destroy the house with some tools stolen from nearby, they will work their way from the inside out. While they are working in the house Mr. Thomas returns home early and they lock him inside while they finish the job. The final damage is done when a lorry pulls away a support pole from the house and the building collapses. The gangs escapes and Old Misery is left with a pile of trash which was once his home. This story is funny because it makes fun of the misery of a poor old man. The things that happen in the story are serious and devastating for Old Misery, however its funny for the reader. The humor of this story is often described as "black".

Zoolander
It is a movie that gives the indirect that the models are really stupid and are clueless to the non-fashion related world.

Word War I Trench Warfare
World War I, also knowns as The First World War was fought mainly in Europe during the years 1914-1918. Until finally in 1919 a peace treaty was signed between Allied and Central Powers.
This war was fought between Allied powers (Russian Empire, France, British Empire, Italy, Japanese Empire and the United States) and Central Powers (Germany, Hungary, Turkey and the Bulgarian Empire) in locations such as Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Although it was a massive war which involved over 9 million death soldiers, the type of combat was a trench warfare.
This meant that the soldiers would arrive at the front line, dig a big hole to cover from enemy fire and build a kind of shelter and they would spend weeks firing with rifles and machine guns against the enemies.
Soldiers had static positions in combat and took turns to operate the fire arms and the artillery. This was the type of combat which took place during most of the war but at the end the development of tanks allowed both sides to move comfortably around the field. The weapons used during World War I were mainly Infantry weapons, machine guns and artillery. Other types of weapons which were less common were Mortars, Toxic Gas, Mining, Flamethrowers and Combat Planes. At the end of the war anti-tank guns were developed to fight the armored vehicles. The soldiers communicated with theirs superiors and with other trenches using instruments such as the telegraph, the telephone and homing pigeons. More elementary communications like signal lamps were also involved.

Also known as the First World War was a global war staged mainly in Europe because almost all the countries involved were European but there were some presence from Asian countries. It all began many years before with many problems between the countries involved but the trigger to start the war was the assassination of the archiduque Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sofia Chotek in the city of Sarajevo the 28th of June of 1914. There were many dead soldiers and civilians for all the countries involved obviously there are more in the countries that lost the war.
'Journeys end' is a play written by R. C. Sherriff that interprets the experience of a British army infantry company during World War 1 in Saint-Quentin, France in 1918. It gives a brief glimpse of what was life like in the war for British officers. Sherriff describes the play like a play full of suspense and really entertaining.

Daniels opinion about emos
Maybe the way of thinking of this sub-culture differs with ours but we have to respect them.
By: Daniel Segura.
Santiagos opinion of EMOS
The emo or emotional cult is a really common cult in the teenagers that is characterized of loving the death related themes, listening specific music and dressing in certain way. Many people respect them but even more hates the ideas and beliefs of the emos. The emos are really similar to the Goth cult. There has always been hate between both emos and another sub-culture called the punks.
I think people have the option of choosing how to dress or which music to listen and it is respectable that they have their own opinions about life but I also think that emos who cut themselves or attempt suicide have serious mental problems. I think those people who self-harm are taking the beliefs of emos to a next level which is unacceptable and must be treated by professionals.
